Gabriele Del Grande

Gabriele Del Grande has been writing and reporting on migration since 2006, when he founded the Fortress Europe observatory. Since then, he has travelled to about thirty countries all over the Mediterranean, northern Europe and the Sahel. He is the author of the books “Mamadou va a morire” (2007), “Roma senza fissa dimora” (2009) and “Il mare di mezzo” (2010) published by Infinito edizioni; “Dawla” (2018) and “Il secolo mobile” (2023) published by Mondadori. In 2014 he conceived and co-directed the movie “Io sto con la sposa”.
